CHRISTOPHER STUART
Founder, Principal Designer
At the helm, Chris’ experience spans graphic, product, furniture, and interior design while also having a love and history with various art mediums. He graduated from Herron School of Art and Design with a BFA in Furniture Design.
He has a proven track record creating innovative emotional designs that meet industry needs while exceeding client expectations. Luur also combines his experience working for big brands like GE and RCA as an in-house Lead Industrial Designer with his time consulting brands like Panasonic, Cisco, Philips, and Heinz.
He is an accomplished professional award winning artist that has exhibited in some of the top galleries in the US, and he has also been featured in many leading art and design magazines.
Chris’s love for design doesn’t stop at the studio. He authored his first book, DIY Furniture which was published by Laurence King in 2011 and gained international attention as it is now published in 5 languages. He is currently working on part 2, scheduled for release in 2014.

JAMES DECHANT
Multidisciplinary Designer/Fabricator
James recently graduated from Ball State University’s Masters of Architecture program with a focus in Digital Design + Fabrication. James has a knack for making the ordinary EXTRAORDINARY and transforming creative ideas into reality. James is critical and creative and always looks to apply the framework he developed in architecture school to any creative project.

KYLE BYRD
Industrial Design Intern
Kyle is currently studying Industrial Design at James Madison University in Virginia. He spends his summer months in Indianapolis working on fun and creative projects at Luur.
